2019 JAMB Registration Form Is Out



JAMB registration form 2019/2020 is out on sale. The JAMB UTME CBT and Direct Entry (DE) details and general information are not available online at jamb.org.ng. Sales of form starting date and closing date have been announced.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced sale of registration forms for the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, today Thursday, January 10, 2019. JAMB Registrar Ishaq Oloyede debunked claims that JAMB had started sales of 2019 forms months ago. He also said that the Board would commence the sale of UTME forms January 10, 2019. According to him, the sales will last for six weeks, followed by examination in March. Below, you will also find some important information that will you help you towards your 2019 JAMB registration. JAMB REGISTRATION 2019/2020 PERIOD (REGISTRATION STARTING AND CLOSING DATE) Majority of the questions we have been getting have been about when JAMB registration for 2019 will start. Yes, there has been a long delay than usual in the commencement of JAMB registration 2019 online for UTME. JAMB UTME REGISTRATION FEES FOR 2019 Another question we have received a lot is about how much candidates will pay to register for JAMB UTME. The 2019/2020 registration fee is N3,500. This is because, on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, President Muhammadu Buhari approved a reduction in the cost of the Unified Tertiary Examination and Matriculation Examination (UTME) form to N3500. The JAMB Fee of N3,500 Naira includes Registration fees, Reading text and all other Document (Syllabus and Brochure). The new fee for the exam’s registration form will take effect from January 2019. WHERE CAN YOU BUY REGISTRATION SCRATCH CARDS/FORM? We have been informed that the 2019 JAMB registration scratch card (e-PIN) form for UTME 2018/2019 is now available at designated points and banks nationwide. Registration forms and cards are now available in the following Banks and NIPOST offices Nationwide. Banks will also have their representatives at JAMB CBT registration centers where candidates can register. HOW TO REGISTER FOR 2019 UTME You should go along to the accredited JAMB registration 2019 center near you with your credentials that they will upload to the registration portal. Create your JAMB profile A form e-pin would then be sent to the candidate via SMS. Visit any accredited CBT centers with your personal details. The candidate is to also present the e-pin at any JAMB accredited CBT centre for registration. ACCREDITED JAMB REGISTRATION CENTERS As said earlier, registration for JAMB UTME 2018/2019 can be done on Jamb website or accredited centers. All interested candidates should note that they can easily access the Board’s website on www.jamb.org.ng for registration using the registration scratch card. Please take note that Registration for the CBT examination can be done on the website at anytime within the specified registration period through any of the accredited 2019 JAMB registration centers nationwide. At the end of registration, the CBT centers or JAMB State Office will give you the prescribed reading text and the CD containing the following. Make sure you collect them before leaving the registration center. DOCUMENTS YOU ARE EXPECTED TO COLLECT AFTER JAMB REGISTRATION a) e-brochure showing guidelines on admission detailing list of tertiary institutions and available programmes of study. b) Syllabus (e-syllabus) for the examination. c) Step by step guide on completion of the application form. d) A video messages from the Registrar of JAMB and a demo on how to use eight (8) keys for UTME examination without mouse. (For candidates with little familiarity with Computers). Please note that this will be at no extra cost. 2019 JAMB REGISTRATION GUIDELINES 1. Each Candidate is to complete the online application form by supplying the required details such as name, e-mail address, L.G.A., academic qualification, etc. 2. At the CBT centers, they will capture and upload your ten fingers biometric and image. 3. O/L and/or A/L grades are to be provided by candidates. Candidates who are awaiting result should supply the result online as soon as the results are available on JAMB’s portal. 4. Each Candidate is to collect his e-slip at the end of registration as evidence of registration. All candidates are to take note that irrespective of their choice of course of study or method of testing, they will also be tested on two general books. The name of the general books are; “In Dependence” by Sarah Ladipo Manyika for UTME candidates and “The Last Days at Forcados High School” by A.H. Mohammed for Direct Entry candidates.
